Blow Jobs
“Blow Jobs” was a saucily-named hairdressing salon in Bournemouth in the 1980’s, that had enlightened locals (not that there were many of them, due to a high presence of coffin-dodgers) chortling as they passed by. Of course it's just one of many pun-tastic names thought up to front "barnet"-styling emporiums. This has inspired me to keep a lookout for examples to feature on this site - I have posted some below. Should anyone wish to make further contributions, feel free to email me…

Situated on a corner (naturally)

Note not-as-good "Nailport" pun

If they also did waxing, would they have a section called "hairstrip"?

Disco department 1: probably not named after the "Boogie Nights" band

Disco department 2: probably named after the Odyssey hit (I much preferred Lamont Dozier's original version). Also: note Finbarr Saunders-style name of the sandwich shop next-door (fnarr fnarr)

A case of "Hair today, gone tomorrow"

The inheritance went to the Dogs' Home...
And finally - not a hairdresser's but top marks for punning anyway:

Holy blocked sink!
